Biography
As a partner at Garrett Walker Aycoth & Olson, Sean M. Olson enjoys assisting clients with their criminal law needs, ranging from misdemeanor criminal charges and traffic tickets to DWIs to serious felonies. Prior to joining the firm, Sean was an assistant public defender for more than five years. Sean has tried a variety of bench and jury trials, and is a member of the North Carolina Capital Defender's list. With co-counsel, he has tried a first-degree murder case to acquittal during a multi-week jury trial. Sean began his legal career at the Greensboro office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak and Stewart, P.C. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Elon University School of Law, where he graduated in the top-ten of his class and served on the Moot Court Team.
