also known as Jonathan M. Parisi
Jonathan M. Parisi was born in San Diego County, California, and raised primarily in eastern North Carolina. Coming from a military family—his father served nearly 30 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant Major, and his mother is a former Navy Corpsman—he developed a strong appreciation for discipline, integrity, and hard work from an early age.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Law from Western Carolina University in 2016. While in college, he held leadership positions in Student Government and his fraternity, served as an Accounting Tutor, and was selected as a Chancellor's Ambassador, representing the university and working closely with its administration.
He went on to earn both his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Elon University. During law school, Jonathan completed his legal residency at Carruthers & Roth, P.A., where he gained experience in estate planning, business law, and civil litigation. He also worked in Elon Law's Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic and later served as a law clerk for The Carroll Companies, assisting with complex real estate and business transactions.
Jonathan began his legal career practicing estate planning and probate in Greensboro and now serves as an attorney at Spangler Estate Planning. His practice focuses on helping individuals and families prepare comprehensive estate plans, administer estates and trusts, and navigate the probate process with confidence and compassion. He believes thoughtful planning provides peace of mind and is committed to helping clients protect their loved ones and preserve what matters most.
Jonathan's combined legal and business education allows him to advise clients with an understanding of both the legal and financial implications of their decisions. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling and distance running, and counts completing the Boston Marathon among his proudest personal achievements.

I made a superb choice
Jonathan guided me in settling my wife's estate, guiding me through a turbulent period. Between grief and ignorance of procedures, a "steady hand on the shoulder" was invaluable. I placed my trust in Spangler Estate Planning and made the correct choice of attorney.
"Jon was a pleasure to work with! He is very knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to probate work. Not only was he able to help me solve a file I have been working on for months, but the way he explained the law/ probate process helped me better understand probate work as an attorney. I would recommend Mr. Parisi for all things probate related."
"I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Mr. Parisi. He is extremely professional and diligent. He communicated frequently and thoroughly on the matter. I would work with him again 100 times out of 100 and would refer estate matters to him without hesitating. Thank you Jon!"

"Attorney Parisi is extremely professional, great advocate for his clients and an asset to our community! I"
"With much pleasure, I commend my colleague, Attorney Jonathan Parisi, to the people of North Carolina for a whole range of probate-related needs. I have known Jonathan since he was an undergraduate at our mutual alma mater, Western Carolina University, and he was serious even at that time about becoming an attorney and serving his community. The answers Jonathan has posted on this website, and his stellar track record in serving clients since licensure, all demonstrate his mastery of probate administration. Jonathan would be an excellent choice to advise an executor or administrator on estate governance, as well as probate and fiduciary litigation when/if the need arises. My colleague is a credit to the North Carolina Bar, and the state in general."
"I've known Jonathan for years. He is a diligent advocate for his clients and prioritizes their needs within the right legal solution. He is an upstanding member of the Greensboro community!"
"Jonathan is thoughtful and concerned about his clients. He will help you create a plan that meets your goals and ensures your family is cared for according to your wishes."
"Jonathan is professional, analytical, courteous, and knowledgeable about his specialities. I highly endorse Jonathan for both estate planning and estate administration matters."
