The Elderlaw Firm provides elder law estate planning in and around Greensboro, North Carolina for boomers and seniors. In addition to providing wills and living trusts, The Elderlaw Firm provides clients and their families with peace of mind through planning for long-term care, Alzheimer’s, Medicaid, VA Aid and Attendance, and taxes. The firm helps families throughout North Carolina apply for Medicaid to pay for the cost of nursing home care for a parent or spouse.

Lauren is a licensed NC attorney at the Firm who handles an assortment of elder law and estate planning matters, with a special emphasis on long-term care planning, asset protection, and Medicaid. She is a vital member of the Elderlaw Team by not only serving our clients, but by supporting and giving back to the Greensboro community.

Lauren graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with an English degree and a certificate in legal studies. She went on to attend Elon University School of Law where she graduated in December 2017 as part of the school’s inaugural class of students completing the nation’s first-ever 2.5-year law-school curriculum. Most recently, Lauren graduated from Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business with her MBA degree.

Before joining The Elderlaw Firm, Lauren worked as the Assistant Counsel, Program Manager for the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. In that work she was helping to advance diversity, inclusion, and equity within the legal community. Pro Bono work and community involvement have always been of utmost importance to Lauren, and she continues these efforts while with the Firm. Additionally, she is a member of the Women in the Profession Committee of the North Carolina State Bar Association.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys traveling with her fiancé (especially to the NC coast). Their cat, Arnie, is also a huge part of their family.
