I was born in Washington DC, grew up in Colorado, went to college in Iowa, lived in New Hampshire, went to law school in South Carolina, and now live in Durham, North Carolina.
In the past I've worked as a bankruptcy clerk for Wells Fargo reviewing mortgages and proofs of claim, but I have found much greater enjoyment helping clients who are facing overwelming debt file for bankruptcy and get a second chance in their finances and in life. See my cases for my proudest legal achievements.
Before I became a lawyer, I was an active tournament chess player; my greatest accomplishment was a good performance at the 2009 US Open. Today, I teach chess at Global Scholars Academy in Durham and at the Cary Chinese School.
