Richard T. Dail

I am a life-long resident of North Carolina and I've lived in or near High Point in Davidson County since 1998. I graduated from high school in 1981. After high school I joined the Air Force, serving as an air traffic controller in Japan. I also earned college credits and eventually received a scholarship to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics in 1988 and went back into the Air Force as a commissioned officer. I left active duty Air Force in 1993 and came back to North Carolina, working as a manager for Murphy Family Farms in Rose Hill, North Carolina. After two years, I attended Campbell Law School beginning in 1995. Since graduating in 1998 I moved to High Point and have worked exclusively in the Triad region. I am a member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bar, the High Point Bar Association and recently was on the Board of Directors for Win-Win Resolutions, a non-profit conflict resolution corporation specifically tailored toward reducing conflicts and bullying within the public school systems of Guilford County. I'm married and have five children and two step children, four of whom still live at home. My wife works with me in my office. We are a family law firm.

Since 1998, I've represented hundreds of people---people from all walks of life---doctors, business owners, stay-at-home moms, fathers, grandparents and minor children. I've represented the guilty and the innocent, and I've worked hard to achieve the best outcome possible in every case. I also bring with me the experience of living in the real world as a non-lawyer until I was in my mid-thirties. I've been through good times and bad times and I can empathize with the plight of my fellow citizens who find themselves facing challenging legal issues. I grew up in North Carolina and I've lived in foreign countries and other states while in the military. I can bring the benefit of my many life experiences as well as my legal experience with me to the table when I speak for you.
