Many legal matters handled

I've used Hayes with personal, family, and business matters. I've settled out of court, been in a courtroom with, and consulted with Hayes. He had confidence in circumstances when I knew nothing about what would happen, he stuck with me and helped me see them through. I hope no one had to handle ...as many matters in the time frame I had to but Hayes does know the system and if you think an attorney is going to do it all for you, get a grip. You have be organized and involved with any legal matter, don't be ignorant and think the court will take care of it without your involvement.

Very sad story

For a family law situation you should never consider this attorney. I guess you don't have to worry about it because he is not practicing anymore, which is a good thing. After a year and a half of waiting for a TPR for a child he informed us he would not be practicing law anymore. When we took it ...to another attorney the new attorney then told us that after 3 dismissals I can no longer file for a TPR any longer. Very moody, most conversation was with the secretary, very frustrating!!! Never go with the cheapest attorney - you get what you pay for.

Outstanding Representation

Shaun has done, and continues to do, an outstanding job representing and advising me through my divorce and child custody case. He is extremely knowledgeable of family law, is organized, and has been responsive to all my requests for information. Shaun is a true professional and advocate. His fees... are more than reasonable. I'd highly recommend him.

Yes, he's cheaper but trust me that is not a good thing!

Please do yourself and your family a favor and do not retain the services of Shaun Hayes. He is indeed cheaper than most other attorneys in Asheboro, and he seems to be moderately knowledgable about family law, however you get what you pay for. I'll refrain from posting specifics regarding my case,... but it's a child custody issue and it remains unresolved after several months of back and forth with Mr.Hayes and my ex's attorney. I'm sure in a more simple case he may provide an adaquate service but in my opinion, children are way too precious to risk because you'd rather save money on attorney fees. He is non-communicative and not thorough. It's like pulling teeth to get a response or call back from his office, and when you speak with him, his answers are often indirect and short. I was often left confused and blindsided in court despite my efforts to be proactive and organized with my case information and details. Go with someone much more willing to communicate with you, or you will be disappointed.

Great Help

Mr. Hayes was awesome as a lawyer, helping me get my temporary custody filed and getting me access to my child. He is very much the professional to work with, he has an extremely calm demeanor with his client and is a lion in the courtroom. His knowledge of the law, working within the Randolph Coun...ty Court system was impressive! Glad he was on my side, looking out for my best interest and that of my child's. He also handled a false accusation made, impressed with his reasoning abilities and ability to sort through a bunch of data and put the real picture together. Mr. Hayes will stand his ground and fight for you, I highly recommend him.
