Excellent law firm restored my rights

Mr. James Wilson and his law firm did a excellent job of restoring my rights. I would recommend them to anyone. My situation was one where some medical people made some serious mistakes. Mr. Wilson got to the bottom of things and never stopped. His staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Considerin...g I had health problems when we first started, then the covid 19 thing slowing things down, and the local government and such not cooperating very well. Mr. Wilson and his people made all parties behave properly. Took a while but they got the job done. If you need your rights restored and if it can be done, it would be James Barret Wilson and Associates. They really are very nice people. I liked them. Always a pleasure to talk with. I would highly recommend them.

General Practice Attorney Who Does It All

Everything from traffic tickets to art copyright law to getting an aggressive entity in another state to BTFO. Also had a bank account drained by a sheriff out-of-state (identity theft) and the bank was absolutely zero help. Soon enough, all my funds magically re-appeared in the account. Many more st...ories of rewarding success with James Barrett Wilson and Associates. Great experience with every case.

Excellent at the Law, Extremely Thorough

My wife and I needed an attorney several years ago, and Mr. Wilson came highly recommended, so we hired him. His work was everything we could want, and more. He explained to us what he planned to do, and then followed through completely. Knowing that he was representing us gave us significant pea...ce of mind, and the matter was resolved in our favor. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and was very good at helping us to understand how the entire process would work.

Capable of Handling All Facets of Law, So We Keep Coming Back

We first hired Mr. Wilson when a drop-shipper went bust and surprisingly put inventory we owned up for bid. We could not get anywhere with them. Mr. Wilson simply went over, explained the situation, gave them the option of handing everything over or having their auction shut down. Got everything back... that day. Ongoing, a myriad of traffic issues have all been very satisfactorily resolved. Also had an absolutely insane situation where an out-of-state sheriff seized a bank account based on a stolen identity and an address I have never lived. Got absolutely no where with my former bank (yep, I fired them) thousands landed back into my account before closing it, thanks to Mr. Wilson and his effective staff. The latest incident where I was lucky enough to procure his services took place when an out-of-state entity threaten to sue. Nothing but retributive, baseless and malicious threats. The tables were quickly turned when we filed in this state first. The bad guys begged off. And there's more routine and mundane stuff. James Barrett Wilson & Associates are my go-to guys. What can't they do? Very easy to get in touch with and always returns my calls and emails. As unpleasant as legal matters frequently can be, gotta say I always look forward to working with their office. Problems get solved and go away.

[By hiring him] I was better off without an attorney!

This attorney was hired to handle an open container case for me when I was under the age. I was pulled over for speeding and the police man that pulled me over saw a small black trash bag in the back of my car and was curious. It was a trash bag so I saw no problem in letting him inspect it. Inside w...as trash, which included two empty malt beverage containers. I believe the police man went a little extreme by charging me with open container, but he could only assume those bottles where trashed after consuming them myself. I was angry that day, but I understood his assumption... I figured this can be explained in court. By the way, I was breathalyzed as well and came out negative. This was just trash in my car waiting to be taken to the dumpster... it was no consumed by me. Anyway I end up hiring this attorney. After explaining to him what happened, I was informed that this would be easily fixed for me. On the day of court, I think I was badly represented. I was in the courtroom, my attorney went up for me. He said for me to go in case I needed to go up and recount what happened that day. I never saw the attorney fight my case or even try to explain what really happened. He just went up there, the judge read my case, he simply asked to see if it could be reduced, she said no looking at it from the paper, the attorney never asked if I could go up or even tried to explain the situation. I may not know how things in court go, since I'm not an attorney, but I'm sure he could have done something. At least have tried and hear out if the Judge would allow a change. In that case, I should have not hired him and just not went to court (plead guilty automatically). I got full extent of punishment. My license was to be taken away for 1 entire year, there was no driving privilege sought out for me by this attorney ( I didn't even know I had that option, that it even existed, he never mentioned it to me). I went an entire 6 months w/out a license (more on this coming up). I worked, I was in college, I was a volunteer at my local church three days a week... all this had to stop. No one could take me to all these places. I had to move to Greensboro (out of town) to live near my college campus during winter so I could walk to class. I had to find a new job near campus. I had to live away from my family, and I accepted all this because I did not think anything else could be done. This attorney never offered anything else either, no options. I figured this is how the court system works. It was my first time ever being in court. 6 months in this new life, my then girlfriend (who works for an attorney) talked about my case to her boss (the lead attorney) and he quickly set up an appointment to discuss my options. This incredible new attorney went to court and looked into my case and realized I should have never even had my license revoked in the first place. He noticed negligence from Mr. Wilson's part. I was shocked. My new attorney reopened the case and had my license back for me within a few weeks. I could not believe I had went 6 months, and changed my whole life, because Mr. Wilson represented me in such a bad way. I had also paid Mr. Wilson more than my new attorney charged me to fix this. Unfortunately me new attorney could not have these charges removed from my record because when its decided by the court, you can't really reopen it to try it again (so I was told). So because of that, for 7 years I have had this on my record. I have been denied jobs because of this on my record. So yes what Mr. Wilson did to me still haunts me and will so until 2015 when it goes off my record. I don't even drink by the way. This hurts and I'm trying not to be spiteful, but I want the public informed and to be extremely cautious when dealing with Mr. Wilson. Make sure you understand your case and that he goes through w/ what he promises you. Do your research and I would talk to multiple attorneys instead of just one, until you find one you can trust.
