Griff Shuler was motivated to become an attorney by a strong desire to help other people in need. He is an Executive Partner at the firm and is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.
Griff concentrates his practice in Workers’ Compensation claims and complex third party cases. He has extensive experience in handling many different types of workers’ compensation claims before the North Carolina Industrial Commission for over 22 years. He has handled cases involving traumatic brain injury, serious back injuries, neck injuries, severe fractures of the hand, arm, feet or leg, rotator cuff and other shoulder injuries, knee injuries, hip injuries, ligament injuries, cartilage injuries, occupational disease cases, and many other types of work-related injuries.
Griff enjoys educating injured workers regarding their legal rights. He believes in being supportive and compassionate to each client, and he desires to guide them through the entire process of their claim.
Griff is a former college soccer forward, and he was a two-time Academic All-American and Co-Captain of the team. He uses the lifelong skills learned on the soccer field, such as the discipline of training, teamwork, and the reward of winning, to seek excellent outcomes for his clients. Griff and his team of professionals work hard to do everything possible to obtain positive results for Daggett Shuler clients.
Griff has been selected as a North Carolina Super Lawyer in the area of Workers’ Compensation. He has also been recognized as one of the Top Lawyers as published in Triad Business Leader magazine. Griff is a Past-Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section Council. He also served two years as the Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Medico-Legal Liaison Committee. The Medico-Legal Liaison Committee is made up of lawyers, doctors, and hospital and medical board administrators. The committee is responsible for periodic review of and revisions to the Medico-Legal Guidelines and for promoting the understanding and cooperation between attorneys and the medical profession.

Griff is a strong believer in good health and fitness. He enjoys sports, travel, music, and spending time with his family. He is active in his church and has served as a church Elder, an adult Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Personnel Committee, as well as other church committees. Griff and his wife have one daughter.
