It was my great pleasure to have found and work with Charlie Hall. I had received Soc Security disability with a Greensboro Atty, but after 3 yrs. I was reviewed because of selling some inherited land and told I was working and would need to repay. Greensboro Atty. either didn’t know how or want to... appeal for me. Finally found Mr. Hall, met him and he agreed to try to help me so I didn’t need to repay. He is a delightful, intelligent and very patient young man! He went through two appeals for me, mostly by filing briefs, so he is very knowledgeable of a complicated, slow moving system. We finally appeared before a Greensboro Administrative Judge. I was given Charlie Hall’s name by the Lawyer Referral Service of the NC Bar Association. My situation involved resolving my late father’s house with the tenants who are currently in it. The LRS involved a thirty minute consultation with an attorney. But when I consulted with Charlie Hall, he was ...willing to speak for longer than those thirty minutes. He also was able to take time on a Saturday for the consultation. During the talk he listened to my situation and explained a couple of legal concepts to me. He also suggested a couple of different options and what my chances would be. I think he went far above and beyond what I expected from the initial consultation, particularly talking for longer than the expected thirty minutes, and on a Saturday, no less. He always listened well and answered my questions, and was patient with someone who was confused by some legal issues. I’m glad I was able to speak to him and get some advice, and recommend him to others.
