I confer with Karen on Social Security disability matters that may affect the clients I represent in other matters and I regularly refer them to her because she is experienced, competent, professional, and compassionate.
Karen Brod received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Wake Forest University; her masters degree in experimental psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville; and her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina.
Though Karen has experience working in litigation and transactional law, she now focuses on Social Security disability law. She is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Social Security Section of the NCAJ, and the North Carolina State Bar.

Great Lawyer
She won my case for me. She knew exactly what to do and say. I highly recommend her.

success with disability case
Karen helped me successful win a disability case that was difficult to find counsel with. Despite medical records, Insurers considered my case a "gray area" and quickly denied all attempts I made to collect benefits. Karen was successful in appealing in adjudication hearing and obtaining "fully favorable" decision. I'm very grateful.
