Monica (and Micah) handled my divorce. Despite feeling a sense of discomfort I stuck with her because of a strong endorsement and professional reputation. There were consistent delays, a chummy comraderie with my ex’s lawyer that suggested a lack of interest and attention to my needs. Despite my d...eep discomfort with the custody arraignment, I was advised to accept it, and now years later my children have on more than one occasion shared that it was a terrible situation. The decree was exceedly complex and did not age well. When my ex violated the contract Monica was ready and willing to go to arbitration, and advised me to fight. But, despite the need for very active attention and the possibility of sizable compensation for her office, nothing of consequence was accomplished in three months of calls, emailing, and me assembling all the information necessary to prove a breach of contract. I communicated that my ex could be highly controlling, and that his anger could have a scary impact on me and my children (it did). The original divorce took over three years to close, and was like a death from a thousand needles. As the delays went on, I advised that the greater the delay the worse it would be for my children, and me. I checked backed a few days later, and received an out of office from Monica and a cold follow up note from Micah. Over the years, I have worked with other attorneys and never felt ignored and dismissed. While I don't expect an attorney to convey their time out of the office, considering the seriousness of my concerns, it would have been appreciated and appropriate. I walked away and have never quite recovered financially. It was an incredibly disappointing experience and now I thoroughly vet attorneys and trust my gut. Buyer be aware.

Monica and Micah were an amazing duo to work with in my divorce case! Very responsive, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Even when Monica was out on vacation, she took the time to respond to my emails, which meant so much to me. Seeing the complete opposite from the opposing... side, I can’t tell you how blessed I felt to have Monica and Micah representing me, definitely a Godsend!
