Durwood Kevin Altman

I received a speeding ticket entering the city of Winston-Salem. I was quite upset. I'd had previous tickets that year, and this was the icing on the cake. It was in doubt whether I could keep my license. I didn't know anyone in Winston-Salem to take my case. I looked on the internet to get an id...ea of someone that I could trust to help me with my predicament. I spoke to several seemingly capable attorneys, but they didn't seem to care about me. I saw Kevin's website. I saw that he was a family man and a veteran. As a veteran myself, I thought that I should call him. When I first talked to Kevin, I appreciated his confidence and his assurance that my case could be handled to the very best outcome. There was no pressure from him to use his services, but I was inspired to do so. Kevin took my case. I was able to keep my license and not have points against me. That was a best case scenario. I was totally pleased with Kevin and would trust him again.

I was tagged with a speeding ticket. At the time I was new to NC, very different than Cali. I had received several offers for help in the mail and chose Mr. Altman. When it was over, I was very pleased with his service and highly satisfied with the results. Should I require legal services in the ...future, I would contact him first.

Mr. Altman represented me in a traffic case. He kept me informed before and after the case. Before the case, he sent me e-mails to let me know when court would be, fees (which I was able to pay on line) and what he felt he could do for me in regards to my ticket. After the case was completed ...he sent me an e-mail telling me the outcome. I consider Mr. Altman very fair and honest. Not only is he an ethical attorney, but he is a family man who loves family.

After attending a wedding I was ticketed for speeding . The officer also tried hard to get me for DUI because my car smelled like alcohol. (I don't drink at all) but my three passengers were pretty smashed. (I am usually the designated driver). Even though we were not speeding the officer... would not give it up, so I ended with the speeding ticket. We returned home (Miami, Fl.). and I began a search for representation because the officer had written the ticket so that I HAD to appear in court. I got lucky and found Mr Altman, who took my case, did all the 'appearing' for me and finally got my ticket dismissed. Through it all he kept me informed and very complete. He did a great job for me, even from a thousand miles away.

He took care of the only speeding ticket I have ever had. My only complaint would be that he should be in contact with the client a little better. I paid him about 2 months before my case went to court, and I never heard from him again except when I called him back right before the court date to ma...ke sure everything was okay, and then I think I received something in the mail later saying that it was taken care of. A couple of quick calls from his secretary would have given me a little more ease of mind. Other than that, he did a good job.
