I RETAINED THE rAWLINGS FIRM TO REPRESENT ME IN A medical malpractice case. because of attorney Rawlings negligent actions The statute OF LIMITATIONS had ran to file a lawsuit. The issue at hand was obtaining a qualified witness to support my case or, a minimum, to inform me he could not do so. He had over four months, from when I first discussed the case with him.. The witness he obtained to review my case was selected approximately 3 weeks before the statute ran.(I have documentation to support this). The witness informed attorney Rawlings He could not support my position. Rawlings informed me approx. 5days before the statute ran. No further action was taken by the Rawlings firm. There are additional acts of negligent I won't cover at this time. I contacted the N.C. state BAR of Rawlings contact. I included rawlings " associate" in the complaint, James Crowe. The Bar opened two investigation on the two mentioned. I was informed by the Bar that James Crowe was not an attorney although he carried that title on their web page. The Bar instructed the firm to remove the title of attorney. I was in contact with mr. Crowe about 80% of the time in my legal dealings with the Rawlings law firm. The N.C. Bar decided in my favor against the two defendents and issued reprimands to both. This had been a disappointing and disgusting experience.
