My bad experience with Vetlaw Brendan Garcia and r

I initially went to Vetlaw because I was denied an increase for my ptsd claim from 50 to 70%. I also asked them at the time if they could look through my medical files and help me put in for more claims they think I should do. Anyway they never helped me file for any claims but they did do a higher l...evel review with a judge. I wasted 3-4 years to only be denied. Oh they also put in for a messed up back pay back date for the 50% ptsd I already had and they took money from me. The woman Rhonda green that helped me sounds like a robot and not compassionate at all. I ended up going to DAV and I got up to 90% in just 6 months. Look I see a lot of good reviews but my experience was one of the worst and it makes me so mad having had to wait so long because they decided to go to a judge !

Best VA Attorney

Mr. Garcia won my VA claim when others told I had none. He is honest and will go all the way for u to win. If you're looking for a VA attorney, Mr. Garcia is the one. His Assistant Emily keeps in touch with regarding claim. She is kind and courteous and will answer you're emails or calls as fast as ...she can. Thank u both. So grateful for the outcome. I seriously and highly recommend this Attorney.

Unprofessional

This firm is not professional and your privacy is at risk. If you value your protections under the HIPPA laws I would seriously consider your options elsewhere. I sent my personal information to Vetlaw in full confidence of privacy. Initially they set proper expectations that it would be a few days f...or review and they would be in touch. A few days passed and I received a 26 page contract from an entirely different law firm with all of my private information attached. I was shocked to open an agreement from a Lawfirm I had never spoken to or heard of that has all of my information, requesting that I sign their agreement? There was no communication with me, no answers, knowledge of, or explanations. In fact they acted as if this is the how they do it all the time. I contacted Vetlaw who decided to be defensive, rude, and hung up the phone. I had researched Vetlaw prior to making contact. I had never heard of the other firm they decided to forward my information to without my consent. I feel extremely violated by the actions of Vetlaw and they have no authorization from me. Hippa Training is needed at Vetlaw. It is required to have my written consent to be able share my private information of Medical, SSN, D.O.B., addresses, and more. Very disappointed how this was handled and the reaction of Vetlaw regarding my right to privacy. It was obvious they did not care one bit about my privacy and questioning their choices. Imagine giving someone your private information in full confidence and they share this with another firm who sends an agreement to sign without even contacting me or making me aware on any level what was happening? I contacted Vetlaw for assistance based on reviews and research. Had I known they were going to forward my file to another firm I would have never allowed this and would have severed the ties immediately. Very disappointed!. Vetlaw has completely disregarded the issue as if it is not a big deal. The law seems clear written authorization is the only way you can share this sensitive information. Both Law firms think it does not matter? Because they are attorney's and do not have to abide by the privacy laws that protect consumers. They should get a 0!!! The CFPB will be hearing from me regarding my privacy. A low Blow Mr. Garcia. Of all people you should understand the law protecting of my privacy.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST

I put in for my ratings back in 2017. After i was denied my benefits, I reached out to Brendan and he quickly responded back to jump on the case. We were able to get the NOD completed August of 2018 and Brendan was able to get my disability granted in a very swift time frame compared to the standard ...VA waiting period. Not only has Brendan helped get my disability granted, he is continuing to look out for me and my family by working to increase my rating! If you have been denied benefits, don't go it alone. Brendan will work his absolute best to get you the outcome you deserve! Thanks again Brendan!!

Exceptional Lawyer/Advocate!

My story is no different from the many Veterans struggling with poor VSO representation and VA bureaucracy. It serves little purpose for me to highlight the bad because all of our stories are similar in nature—a lackluster VSO coupled with the adversarial VA equals, no results, and ultimately no hop...e. Instead, I would rather express my praise and gratitude for Brendan Garcia. To provide a brief history, my struggles spanned the course of 5 years. I spent my first year working with a VSO (very bad experience). I moved on to representing myself, which only provided me with the false impression that I had control over my claim (which I did not). After 2 years of roadblocks, I finally made the decision to seek counsel from an attorney. Of all the attorneys I contacted, Brendan immediately impressed me. The moment I first spoke with him (I live in different state from him), it was apparent that he puts his client’s needs above all else. Over the 3 years that we have worked together, he has been my advocate, my counselor, and my friend. Brendan approached each challenge throughout the appeals process in a focused and intelligent manner. When something unfavorable would arise, my reaction was emotional, but Brendan’s was not. He would do his research and find the error in the VA’s reasoning. Brendan would then provide a solution (or an action) to counter the latest challenge. Given VA’s tendency to make mistakes, this was a common occurrence over the course of my appeal. All the while, Brendan responded to my inquiries, provided options, and listened to my rants as if I were his only client—which I was not. I recently received the final decision of my appeal and I am happy to say the VA finally acknowledged the conditions I incurred during service. This would never have come to fruition if not for the guidance, attention-to-detail, dedication/commitment, knowledge, determination, and so forth (the list honestly goes on and on) of Brendan Garcia. Words alone cannot express my gratitude for the things Brendan has done. I wholeheartedly recommend Brendan’s services to any Veteran seeking assistance or considering an appeal.
