Mr Hatfield accepted retainer then failed to correspond with me and the attorney representing my ex-husband.
Failed to respond to the court.
I missed the divorce hearing and had to contact the oppositions attorney to find out what was the status.
The court demanded he repay the retainer, which Mr Hatfield did with apologies that he was ill.

He claims that he is ill and thus is not able to give full attention to his work. Deligates everything to paralegal. Will not discuss the specifics of my case and will not return calls or emails. The only time he has talked with me was before I hired him and at deposition. Paid a $10,000 retainer and received accounting after a year indicating that he had spent over 15,000 and requested and additional $15,000. Currently being investigated by the BAR.
