Justin Michael Hershberger

Justin M. Hershberger was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. He is a graduate of Wheeling Central High School and Wheeling Jesuit University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from WVU's West Virginia College of Law, graduating in the top ten of his class. In law school, he was an Associate Editor of the West Virginia Law Review, the third oldest law review in the nation. In addition, he was part of a team of law students that assisted the state's lead investigator in the Sago Mine tragedy. Following graduation, he worked for the firm of McLaughlin & Carpenter, PLLC in Fairmont, WV, focusing on family law, social security disability, and criminal defense. He returned to the Wheeling area in 2007, becoming an Assistant Public Defender. He served in this role for nearly four and a half years, honing his criminal defense skills. In 2011, he joined Rawle & Henderson LLP as an associate, focusing on asbestos (mass/toxic tort), product liability, insurance defense, and commercial trucking litigation. In 2012, he opened the Hershberger Law Office to better serve the people of the Ohio Valley.
