FALSE COMPLAINT AGAINST MY WV RN LICENSE

I have been a nurse in the state of WV for 30 years with an unblemished/exemplary record. As a retaliation from a personnel/child custody case, a very serious and false complaint was made against my license by an "anonymous" source with no evidence. To my shock, anyone with a personal vendetta ca...n literally try to ruin a person's career as a nurse in the state of WV by simply having only a nurse's name! To file a complaint against a nurse, the BON does not require the person to provide a name, address, phone number or any evidence of the complaint. With only an anonymous complaint, the WV BON will completely and thoroughly investigate you by obtaining all your personnel records, complete health records, and strip you of autonomy. I truly felt victimized not only by the false anonymous complaint, but also by the WV BON for not protecting me as an exemplary nurse for 30 years. Being that I am my only source of income, this caused severe mental, emotional and psychological stress that was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. From the very first phone call with Mr. Reed, he explained every detail of the investigation process the WV BON follows and what I was facing. He showed compassion, empathy, and provided peace of mind that he would fight this case to clear my name. Words cannot express the relief and comfort his words provided to me in my time of high stress. Mr. Reed handled all dealings with the Board, my case was dismissed, and my name/license were cleared. If you ever have any issues with WV State Board of Nursing-especially with false and/or anonymous complaints-make your first call to Mr. Reed! His fees were very reasonable and the peace of mind he provided was worth every penny.

Very pleased!

I worked with Todd for a few months through my license application process. He was always very thorough and attentive. I was always able to get ahold of him when I had questions. What I liked about Todd was that he was very realistic with me. He never made false promises and I appreciated that. That ...being said, we were successful with my situation and I am FOREVER grateful for his kindness and support!

Excellent

As a RN for over 12 years I have never experienced any legal issues until my last year. As a supervisor reporting my staffs negligence, I was somehow found to be directly responsible for all their actions, whereas they were not found responsible for any. Todd was kind, compassionate and helped me eve...ry step of the way and I am happy to now be exonerated. Todd is an true example of Christian leadership. I believe god put him in my path, and what a blessing he has been for me and my family.

I thought I didn't have a chance until I talked to Todd Reed.

Todd Reed took the time to listen to my case that is very complicated. He was honest and truthful about it. If he could help me, he would say so, if he couldn't, he told me that too. He has given me a little bit of hope when I thought it was over. He was very respectful and treated me with kindness. ...He paid attention to everything I had to say and was very informative. If I could, I would hire him in a minute. He spent some time talking to me and answered every concern and question I had. Thank you very much Todd Reed, I am very grateful for you taking the time and giving me the honest truth about my case.

Professional, Kind, and Caring Representation

I contacted Mr Reed on a recommendation from a family friend. I was having a very hard time with my divorce and felt improperly represented by my lawyer at the time. I choose to hire alternate counsel. This was not a road I was unfamiliar with as it was my second divorce yet I was having a difficult ...time with the proceedings. I first spoke with Mr Reed on the telephone and he was very professional yet caring and supportive. He thoroughly and efficiently reviewed my situation and decided he could take my case. He emailed me a list of items he would need and set up an "in person" meeting that he conveniently set within minutes of my home due to the challenges of childcare for my two children. He was very understanding of this being a parent himself. From that point on Mr Reed maintained constant contact with me via telephone calls, emails and even texting from his personal cell phone. I felt extremely confident in his support and abilities. He fielded many questions, concerns and down right bothersome problems that we faced together through my divorce proceedings. He spent many hours, miles and court dates with me and continues to do so even after the finalization for the appeals I am facing. Mr Reed has always been thoroughly researched, prepared and organized for every turn of this process. I do not doubt his abilities one bit. I recommend Mr Reed highly to anyone who wants professional representation with a caring, kind individual who makes a very difficult process a bit easier.
