I have been a nurse in the state of WV for 30 years with an unblemished/exemplary record. As a retaliation from a personnel/child custody case, a very serious and false complaint was made against my license by an "anonymous" source with no evidence. With only an anonymous complaint, the WV BON will completely and thoroughly investigate you by obtaining all your personnel records, complete health records, and strip you of autonomy. I truly felt victimized not only by the false anonymous complaint, but also by the WV BON for not protecting me as an exemplary nurse for 30 years. Being that I am my only source of income, this caused severe mental, emotional and psychological stress that was completely unnecessary and unwarranted.
