My experience with attorney Shelia Moheb was disappointing. She did not keep her word or follow through on what she promised regarding my case. She told me she wouldn’t just push for a plea deal, yet that’s exactly what happened at the last minute without proper communication or preparation. She fail...ed to review my evidence, didn’t coordinate court scheduling as planned, and caused unnecessary stress and extra expenses. I would not recommend her based on my experience.

It is hard to know who to trust in any scenario that entails your private life and a fair amount of money. I would like to take the opportunity to praise Sheila Moheb for her astounding service in my recent court case. Backdrop of the ticket: I was returning from a wedding in New York and my car broke down in Winchester, VA. I had to get a rental to return to Atlanta. I was traveling in VA late that ...night around 11 PM and it was pitch black as you would imagine. The road was clear and I was doing a little over 80 MPH. This car came up behind and I questioned whether or not it was a police officer. I increased my speed to separate myself and the tailing vehicle because of their bright lights and the rental had no tint. No sooner had I accelerated the blue lights came on. The long and short is a received a ticket for traveling 92 in a 70 MPH zone and the officer stated this was considered a Class I misdemeanor in VA. He said it was punishable by jail time. Now, I'm a full-time student pursuing my PhD and I definitely didn't want to get locked up. A few lawyers contacted me because my information was publicly available. Sheila was one of them. A week before my court case I became rather nervous at the pending outcome of the court case and whether or not I should try to defend myself. I ended up contacting 5 lawyers and I can say before talking to Sheila I was discouraged. The attorneys painted gloom and made it seem as all that was important was keeping me out of jail. In addition, there price to represent me were astronomical (2 of the 4 were over $1000.00). Here to my rescue! I contacted Sheila first but she was in a meeting. I spoke with her later in the afternoon and the first thing I noticed was her enthusiasm and concern. She offered the most guidance regarding the case, answered questions, and made suggestions none of the other lawyers made. She assured me she would do her best and made no promises, but assured me that I had extenuating circumstances and just support for me not being a delinquent. At her request, I provided my CV, rental agreement and summons to take with her to the court case. Outcome: Sheila was able to argue my case to a favorable settlement. No jail time! No license suspension in VA! Moreover, the charge was dropped from a misdemeanor to a traffic infraction. I ended up paying a little under $400 for the ticket. Thank you Lord! Sheila I am indebted to your service and cannot express my endearing gratitude for your work. It's a plus when you know undoubtedly that your lawyer is fighting for your rights and not just working with the system.
