Biography
I am a single mother and solo practitioner from Prince George, Virginia with my office in Hopewell, Virginia. I spent my first six years as an attorney as a prosecutor in Prince George County. I gained valuable experience in that position that I now use to benefit my criminal clients. I learned how to think like a prosecutor and am able to anticipate prosecutor perspective and tactics to the advantage of my clients. I have tried felony and misdemeanor cases from reckless driving and DUI to attempted capital murder and everything in between. I am also a certified guardian ad litem for both children and adults and have represented both in domestic cases, including Abuse and Neglect, juvenile delinquency, and custody and visitation matters. This training brought me to a significant portion of my time being spent in this area as retained counsel. I have considerable jury experience as a result of both my prosecution experience and my private practice experience. I pride myself in giving honest, real legal advice to help my clients make informed decisions about their cases.
