I called Shawn to represent me for a probation case. Shawn was a well prepared, plain spoken and thorough counsel who was without pretense. I hired Mr. Cline's firm to help me with a traffic violation and his office was efficient and fast in communicating what needed to be done prior to the hearing. I hired Mr. Cline for a felony charge. He was late to two different court appearances. One of them ended up having to be rescheduled. He was never actually prepared for my case in any way, nor did he actually read the discovery turned over to him by the prosecutor. Despite a lot of evidence in my fav...or, Mr. Cline was constantly pressuring me to take a plea deal so that we didn't have to go to court. He rarely responded to emails or phone calls and he severely impeded my case. I ended up hiring a different attorney, but in many ways, the damage was already done and I wasted quite a bit of money. Thankfully, the case ended up in my favor in the long run because I hired a new attorney and she was able to "right" the "wrongs" before it was too late.
