I received a Reckless Driving 20 over posted charge in VA and if you are not aware that is a criminal charge. I initially represented myself as I was barely going over the limit to make it reckless. The judge didn't care so I Appealed the conviction and contacted the Lawyer. He talked through the var...ious defense paths and made recommendation to promote a favorable outcome and began working with the Prosecutor. It became aware the the Citing Officer was suspended which was enough to pressure the prosecutor to dismiss the charges and preemptively resolve the issue without me having to bother going back into court. Without his drive I likely would not have been aware of the issue with the Officer and would likely have lost the Appeal.
