also known as Sarah E. Morris
Sarah grew up in a military family and came to learn about public service at a young age. During her time at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, she shifted her focus from national security studies to pursuing the field of law after her time interning at the State’s Attorney’s Office near her school. After Sarah’s family adopted her sister from China, she also became increasingly interested in advocating on behalf of children.
While in law school at Regent University School of Law, Sarah interned for a judge in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia Beach. Sarah also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division where she practiced in federal court primarily in sentencing arguments and detention hearings. Sarah was an Executive Board Member of the Trial Advocacy Board and Chair of the Board’s Intramural Trial Competition.
After law school, Sarah worked for several years at a local Hampton Roads firm where she practiced in the area of family law and criminal defense before opening up her own firm here in Norfolk.
Sarah currently lives in Norfolk where she is only a few steps away from the water. You may see her running around town on the Elizabeth River Trail or frequenting local restaurants and museums. Sarah loves to explore and travel to many destinations, and specifically, international destinations. She believes you should always have your passport ready because you never know when the travel bug will hit!
Whether Sarah is litigating in court or working towards negotiating a settlement on her clients’ behalf, she endeavors to fervently represent their interests.
