Hi there!
My name is Steven - I love defending my clients on DUI & traffic related charges. I stick to the area of law I know, grow in my expertise, and live to serve as many people as possible. I am licensed to practice law in Virginia, North Carolina, and the Eastern District of Virginia Federal Courts.
I graduated from the Regent University School of Law - that place blessed me beyond measure. I was awarded the Corporate, Commercial & Transactional Law Award and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Foundation Trial Advocacy Award. While at Regent Law, I was honored to have served as the President of the Business Law Society and Chairman of the Trial Advocacy Board, where I led Regent Law to a National Trial Advocacy Championship.
I focus on DWI, reckless driving, and all other traffic-related cases (felony, misdemeanor, and infraction) in both state and federal court. I'm a member of the National College for DUI Defense and have been trained in both the NHTSA Standard Field Sobriety Test guidelines, and received ARIDE (Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement) training – the very same training officers receive at the police academy. I never want to stop learning for the betterment of myself and my clients.
In my personal time, I love spending time w/ my wife, daughter, and puppy dog (Hank), enjoying local coffee shops, training for & running marathons, eating ice cream, going to church, watching sports, and listening to vinyl records with my bride.

Traffic ticket dismissal
Got a ticket after a car crash. It was my first time in court, so I wanted a lawyer to be fairly represented, and Mr. Thomas was just the right person for my case. He got my ticket dismissed and even had the court fees waived. Very professional and helpful!
