In 2010, we discovered our home was built with a significant amount of defective Chinese Drywall. To remedy the problem, we had to move out of our home for nearly 8 months to essentially demolish the interior of our house to the studs, then rebuild. Since none of these expenses were covered by our ...homeowner’s policy, we engaged the law offices of Richard J. Serpe, PC to represent our interests in Virginia law suits and a national class action lawsuit. Given the country of origin of the primary defendant, we never thought we’d ever recover a dime. After nearly 10 years, this complicated case finally reached a successful conclusion. To say we were stunned by the successful outcome of this national class action suit as well as the previous Virginia suits and the fact that we were nearly made whole for our out-of-pocket expenses is an understatement.
