BEST LAWYER EVER

Mr Atkinson is one of the best lawyers i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He made the legal process a breeze.Very professional in every aspect of the law. He is my #1 attorney.

Outstanding Attorney

Ed has represented me in court twice. The first time was for a traffic ticket that Ed got dismissed. The other time was for an occasion where my car was rear-ended and the other driver's insurance company refused to compensate me. We sued the insurance company and got an excellent result in court. E...d is an intelligent, well prepared lawyer who is quick on his feet in court. I would not hesitate to hire him for any future legal needs, and I highly recommend Ed to anyone seeking legal representation.

Please Do Not Use This Lawyer!

Mr. Atkinson was inexperienced and somewhat unprofessional around his colleagues. I hired Mr. Atkinson to help me with a personal injury case that was somewhat complicated. He assured me he could handle it and would get me top dollar with my settlement. He missed court dates and never wanted to discu...ss what he thought my case was worth. If you are willing to take pennies on the dollar for your personal injury case, please hire Mr. Atkinson. If not, do your research and hire someone with more experience and determination. Mr. Atkinson seems to believe that a $25,000 settlement is a great settlement. It seems that that is what he settles all of his cases for. Then, he takes his percentage and forces you to pay your medical bills out of the settlement even if you have negotiated to pay a lesser amount with your medical providers. Pay attention to his reviews. Most of them are written by friends and colleagues of his.

Legal services.

I hired Mr Atkinson to represent my interest on a marine worker injury case. Throughout the entire case he made me very much aware of the intricate details of matter. Inexperienced, dishonest lawyer

Mr. Atkinson portrays himself as very knowledgeable, however his work is not thorough or accurate. In my case he did not keep me up to date on developments in my case, he missed court dates and out right lied about certain aspects of my case. Mr. Atkinson made offers to opposing counsel without my ...knowledge or consent which completely discredited my case. If you make the mistake of hiring him as I did, do your homework and make sure you ask him for a complete accounting of all money coming and going from your settlement.

I support this reviewer's right to free speech and appreciate the feedback. Criticism is important and I take it very seriously. I would point out that this client made these same complaints to the Virginia State Bar, which concluded that all of these accusations were completely unfounded. What strikes me about this client is that she accepted the settlement offer voluntarily, and deposited her settlement check. It was only after she settled the case that she decided I was a bad lawyer for this or that reason (the reason always changes). I am deeply sorry about the injury this client suffered, and that she is dissatisfied with her result. I always try to do the very best for every client, and I am sad to hear that this client is unhappy, even though I know I provided professional, effective representation.
