Biography
Classically trained in Western history, political science and economics at Hillsdale College, MI, earned my Juris Doctor from Regent University in 2015 and passed the VA bar the year I graduated. Varsity track athlete in college and pursuing a black belt in Karate.
In law school I focused my efforts on applied law over legal theory. I entered our school's legal clinic and helped battered women get protective orders, represented workers in unemployment compensation cases and disabled clients get social security compensation, all before I passed the bar. I challenged myself in trial advocacy and negotiation, winning first place in our Murder Trial competition and highest marks in negotiations. While I was still a student I second-chaired a civil comittment trial in Norfolk Circuit court for a sexually violent predator, and worked in juvenile law in hampton. I am currently GAL certified to represent children in circuit and juvenile courts.
I've represented clients in numerous speeding and reckless driving cases in Virginia Beach, Hampton, Norfolk, Suffolk and Isle of Wight.
I've represented clients in divorce, child custody and spousal support cases in court and at the negotiating table.
