Marcus is committed to being a responsive attorney who can provide answers to the questions that weigh heavily on your mind. He does not believe in a "cookie-cutter" approach- each person comes from a unique background and deserves a fresh take on their case.

He focuses his practice on family law, eminent domain and right-of-way matters, and criminal and traffic defense. He regularly represents clients in divorce, custody and visitation disputes, separation agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child and spousal support matters, and protective orders. His experience also includes Child Protective Services appeals, show cause proceedings, extraditions, and unlawful detainers. In his eminent domain practice, Marcus represents condemning authorities in litigation. In his criminal and traffic practice, he defends clients against charges including assault and battery, assault and battery against a family member, reckless driving, and speeding.

Marcus is an Adjunct Professor at Regent University, where he teaches Mock Trial in the undergraduate program. From 2020 through 2025, he taught Trial Practice and Advanced Trial Practice in the law school and coached the school’s national mock trial teams, contributing to multiple regional and national championships during his tenure.

During his time at Randolph-Macon College, Marcus was a four-year starter on the football team and helped lead the program to an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship in his senior season.
