Mykell LaRocque Messman

I have had 3 lawyers and she was by far the best. Spent countless hours working on my case. Always made me feel at ease. Mykell and her team were always on top of everything. If she was at court or busy someone ALWAYS responded. She got me more time with my children and got my child support taken car...e of. She knows her stuff and is extremely knowledgeable of what I was to expect. Prepared me for every single outcome possible. Detail oriented and a stickler with everything. She would not set me up to fail. I wanted my children more and I got them more. I'd reccomend her to anyone. She's a pitbull and goes above and beyond. No need to stress with her in your corner. I thank God she is my lawyer. I'll keep her on retainer.

After 31 years in a marriage to the love of my life, I found myself on the door step of Messman Law seeking counsel, guidance and direction on how to proceed with a legal separation and ultimate divorce that my spouse desired. After hiring this firm to work my legal separation, it did not take long decided that after the State’s mandatory statute wait time; I hired them to take on the work to complete my divorce. Mykell is exceptional, and her team is highly proficient and extremely meticulous. The Law Firm provided responsive, courteous service during in person visits, phone calls, emails, and yes even text messages of my inquiry about the status of the process along the way. Mykell provided superb one-on-one counsel and guidance which ultimately made my unfortunate divorce process an experience that was an absolutely smooth and simple. I have decided to give Mykell a review and she was not even my lawyer but the biological father's lawyer. When we approach a lawyer, all we want is to be represented whether we are right or wrong. This lawyer represented the biological father like he should be represented. He is a master manipulat...or and harmful to my child but she didn't know that. She did her job. He is so harmful that he left my 5 year old out in the dark by himself in a parking lot while he sat in his car with the windows rolled up because he was mad at my child. This was also in January. Why am I choosing to give her a review like this because my lawyer bombed at protecting my child. My high priced lawyer did a horrible job at helping me. My lawyer was easily manipulated by the biological father and it was Mykell in the end that understood the horrible man he is. For that, I am grateful for her. Now I have heard she will stretch out her litigation and will not return calls. That so far is true and hopefully she will improve but when she shows up to court, she shows up fighting. I have written a review about my previous lawyer but it still has not started the healing process of hiring a horrible lawyer. I thought, how can I bring goodness to this situation. Thanking the people that did good in this situation was the only way I knew how.

I am going to keep this one short and simple! By far the best attorney I have ever worked with. She can be a mama bear when she needs to be and at the same time she is that pitbull with lipstick! Not only is she hot, beautiful in a skirt LOL, No disrespect of course but the other attorney will under... estimate her because of her looks and poor them! She always makes me look good when we are walking in the courtroom and especially walking out of the courtroom victorious! She got me for custody of my two girls and for a guy that is awesome, thank you so much Mykell!
