Diane Toscano, Esq. is a former state prosecutor. Her tough yet respectful style in the courtroom, refined from years of experience and training, is apparent to her clients, judges, and other attorneys.
Diane started her career in 2006 as a prosecutor in the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses and DUIs to robberies and violent crimes, both before judges and juries.
Diane then joined the law firm of Abrons, Fasanaro, & Sceviour practicing in criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. Before Diane started her own practice, she worked for Zoby, Broccoletti, & Normile where she continued to zealously represent clients in a variety of legal matters. Diane has mentored under the top defense attorneys in Hampton Roads, and it shows. Diane is focused on achieving the best outcome for her clients and has an outstanding track record.
Diane focuses on federal and state criminal defense, divorce and custody, Title IX and other civil litigation. From multi-million dollar divorces to murder trials to university complaints, Diane has become one of the go-to attorneys in tough situations. Do not recommend
Paid a retainer and I hired her for my daughter of whom I am also the legal guardian. Ms Toscano was not well prepared or organized going into last hearing, she had a case in the courtroom next door at the same time. Communication was a problem, did not return phone calls or emails. Hard to get...

Replied last January 05, 2022I understand you are frustrated, but as I advised you I cannot discuss your adult daughter's case without her permission. I have been very transparent with you from the beginning. Although you paid the retainer fee, your daughter is my client. I am glad that I was able to modify your daughter's bond at the last Court hearing and accomplish what we all wanted to happen. I do hate that you are frustrated with the process.
