Representative Cases:
Turner v. Turner, 47 Va. App. 76. Affirmed my client’s position: Where a final divorce decree provided that the wife would be entitled to 50% of the marital share of the husband's pension, the trial court did not err in entering a QDRO after his retirement, because the QDRO did not create substantive rights, but only effectuated the express intent of the final decree under Va. Code Ann. § (K)(4).

Outstanding & Raises the Bar!
There are not enough word to describe Mrs. Amick. When I met Regina, she was my second consult. The first attorney didn't feel right. I spent an hour with Regina and it was that hour that changed my entire mind set about my divorce. Without going into the details of my divorce, I needed an attorney w...

Superior Advocate. A winner!
Gina took the initiative; helping me to negotiate a fair and affordable separation agreement with my determined and well represented soon-to-be-exspouse. Gina listened to my situation, explained my liabilities and helped me to turn my situation around; quickly developing a winning strategy. ...

Very Impressed
I hired Ms. Amick to represent me in JDR Court at the last minute, when I originally intended to attend the hearing alone. The hearing was just another tactic in a long line of frivolous proceedings filed by the opposing party in our custody battle regarding our grandson, which was handled on my beh...

Class act
This review is long overdue but nonetheless I have to review Ms. Amick and tell the world I am so grateful for her talent as a lawyer and her compassion as a person. She and her staff constantly reassured me that I would be taken care of, and I was. When you are in the midst of the divorce storm, you...

Relocation Angel
Regina has been a true God send! From our first meeting on she listened to everything I had to say, understood my true reasons for wanting to relocate, and was honest with me about the process and what (and what not) to expect. She had my back at every turn, let me cry and vent when I needed to, an...
"I strongly endorse Ms. Amick for any domestic relations-related matter. In my previous position as a law clerk, I was always impressed by Ms. Amick's knowledge, writing, and zealous representation of her clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. Regina is professional, prepared, and extremely knowledgeable. She understands the legislative history surrounding the relevant code sections. She is a great advocate for her clients."
"I endorse Regina without reservation. I had the pleasure of working with Regina at Wolcott Rivers Gates and she was always a strong advocate for her clients. She is diligent in her pursuit of her clients' goals and does an excellent job from beginning to end of representation."
"I have been opposite of Regina in the courtroom and have observed her as well at trial. Regina is professional, zealous and highly intelligent. Moreover, she understands that a legal proceeding rarely resolves a family's issues. In that regard, she works hard to help her clients understand the long term effects of trial and to resolve issues appropriately to avoid the stress and other negative aspects of trial."
"Ms. Amick blends great compassion for her clients with a highly knowledgeable application of the law that makes her an excellent and effective advocate."
"Ms. Amick is an outstanding attorney who is both aggressive and compassionate. As a military dependent, she understands issues facing the military community. I highly recommend Ms. Amick."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Ms. Amick for a considerable period of time and have found her to be not only highly competent and professional in demeanor, but also of the highest integrity. She is also an excellent conversationalist and a highly qualified trial attorney."
"Regina is not only an outstanding attorney but an individual who truly cares for and gives individualized attention to each and everyone of her clients."
