Ameet Imad Habib

I hired Ameet Habib several years ago when I was going through a divorce. Just recently I went through a custody battle with my ex over our teenage children and had Ameet represent me again. I am so thankful I did! He is so knowledgeable. He is honest, direct, yet still compassionate. I entered in a custody battle, asking for joint legal/physical custody, with no intentions of hiring a lawyer. I was lost, scared, and had no idea of what to do so I met with Mr. Habib for a consult. From the moment I met with him, he was very direct and to the point and I hired him. He never gave me... false hope, did not lie, or hide anything. Mr. Habib would advise me of his professional opinion and then ask me what I wanted to do, so he did everything with what I wanted in mind. I am not very good speaking in court and I messed up with my words and he was able to fix my mess up. The GAL was against joint legal/physical custody and its very hard to convince the judge to rule against the GAL and Mr. Habib was able to persuade the judge that what I was asking for was in the best interest of my son. After trial, there was an appeal, before the appeal we were came to an agreement and part of that agreement was to withdrawal the appeal and when the other party did not follow through with their part of the agreement, Mr. Habib withdrew our part of the agreement in order to turn their hand to get them to follow through with their part of the agreement. Mr. Habib is a very intelligent lawyer and is very good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a custody lawyer. He does everything he says and goes far and beyond to get things done. In the end, I got what I asked for and what my child needed, joint legal/physical custody without either party paying child support. Thank you so much for helping me get through something that means so much and that was so hard and scary.

Mr. Habib is very professional. He will not lie to you, give you false hope or waste your time. Although he is extremely frank, Mr. Habib is Diligent, courteous and Considerate of what one may be going through. He is simply AMAZING! You get what you pay for!
