Exceptional Legal Representation in a Highly Contested Divorce

I had the privilege of working with Nick during my recent divorce. The case was particularly challenging due to my ex spouse's continuously unreasonable behavior, refusal to compromise on the simplest issues within the case and combative attitude... he seemed to create conflict at every turn and took... every opportunity to prolong the proceedings unnecessarily. As an active duty military member divorcing a civilian spouse, I was very concerned about my assets and finances on the other end of the case. From the outset, Mr. Renninger demonstrated exceptional legal expertise and unwavering dedication to me and my children. He was very knowledgeable in military divorce law and child custody and navigated through my rights, interests and assets with precision. He was up front and honest about the possible outcome and transparent with the legal strategies he would employ to ensure the best outcome from a spouse who was trying to walk away with half of my retirement and all other assets he could obtain. During the trial, Nick employed a remarkable approach to present my case to the court. Through skillful interrogation tactics and strategic questioning, Mr. Renninger told my story to the court, highlighting my spouse's faults and demonstrating his lack of contribution to the family as well as his role in the breakdown of the marriage. His articulation in conveying my story to the court was instrumental in achieving a very favorable outcome with regards to my military retirement and the proceedings from a home that was sold during the divorce process. I interviewed quite a few attorneys before hiring Mr. Renninger, and every single one of them told me I would have to be prepared to give up the maximum amount of my retirement... (even the ones who were recommended due to their expertise and support for military members and knowledge of the military law!) Nick proved them all wrong and I am so grateful for him. The divorce process took longer than I expected, but I couldn't have asked for a more dedicated attorney to represent me. As someone dealing with a high conflict ex, I expect to keep Mr. Renninger's information for future representation if needed. He's truly the best!

Criminal Defense

Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, I found myself in need of a Criminal Defense Lawyer. Mr. Renninger was extremely empathetic; yet no nonsense and knowledgeable. He was straight with my options upon considering how I managed to get myself into the mess I did. He was able to negotiate on ...my behalf to a resolution that I could live with. I am extremely grateful he was my lawyer! I don't have any idea where I would be if he hadn't helped me thru this situation.

Custody/Visitation/Support/Criminal

My first appointment with Nick was right after court, I walked in and told him that I had just declared war on my child's father and that I needed him to make it happen. He told me it wouldn't be cheap but together we can do it! We shook hands and have been attorney-client partners ever since. I was ...being paid $60/month (court ordered) on joint physical joint legal custody. Now my support is $350/month. Custody remained the same but we are not done yet. Child's father retaliated with an assault charge from a year prior, when I found out about a warrant for my arrest I blew poor Nick's phone up around 10pm and he walked me through everything. Letters of representation were already at court at my arraignment. Nick is trustworthy, honest, and takes time to listen to me when I freak out and will be my right hand man until my son is 18. I highly, highly, recommend him to EVERYONE I talk to.

Worst Attorney I ever head of

Mr. Renninger represented me in a federal criminal case in which he knows that I was innocent. He came to my first court appearance not even knowing the names of the parties involved. Nothing he told me was truthful. He made promised and did not keep even one of them. After encouraging me to take the... plea deal (confusing guilty to a crime in which I did not commit) he told me the prosecutor agreed to time served and I would not go to prison. I never got to read the plea deal prior to signing because Renninger showed up only 5 minutes before court with the agreement. I still do not have a copy of the agreement that sent me to prison for a crime I did not commit. Needless to say the agreement was in total contradiction of the verbal agreement Renninger expressed to me. I have been told Mr. Renninger has had some success with city/county criminal cases, but his success rate with favorable outcomes for federal cases is extremely low. In court he did not use the evidence I provided to him and was a total push-over in court. The judge and the prosecutor literal laughed at his defense. He was not a tough attorney, no fight, no backbone, no defense.

Success in Complex Custody Case

Nick Renninger is the most knowledgeable and sincerely invested attorneys I spoke to when trying to settle a very complex custody case. He did all of his research, responded fairly promptly to emails/phone calls (if I couldn't reach him, his assistant Allison was almost always available and helpful),... and applied adequate pressure on the other side to obtain our ideal outcome. Thank you for everything, Nick!
