Austin Mills Tomlin

Austin Tomlin is an associate with Bush & Taylor, P.C. and part-time Public Defender. He was born and raised in Isle of Wight County, Virginia and currently resides in Suffolk, Virginia. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2021 and went on to pursue his law degree at Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In 2024, Austin graduated from Campbell University School of Law with his J.D. While he attended law school, he interned with Bush & Taylor, P.C. in 2022 and 2023, gaining invaluable experience in various areas of practice. After graduating from law school, he immediately began working for Bush & Taylor, P.C. With Bush & Taylor, P.C., Austin currently handles cases in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, and family law. 

When he is not at the office or in court, Austin enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess, and writing both fiction and non-fiction. Austin is also a lifelong outdoorsman, having spent much of his life in the woods and water of southeast Virginia where he learned to fish, hunt, and enjoy all aspects of the outdoors. 

With a wide array of interests, Austin brings a unique perspective to his clients’ situations and strives to provide them with the quality legal help they need.
