Lauren Carroll practiced regulatory healthcare law for seven years. In her practice, she represented a variety of healthcare providers, including serving as in-house counsel for a national medical supplier for the past four years. Armed with this background in the healthcare system, Lauren began representing individuals who were hurt on the job secure maximum workes' compensation benefits. In 2014, Lauren along with five other lawyers founded Commonwealth Law Group, continuing her practice of assisting Virginians who were injured on the job recover their maximum workers’ compensation benefits.
Through this work, Lauren developed expertise in ensuring that her clients received the benefits they deserve. Lauren’s extensive background in the healthcare legal field gives her a unique perspective when working with doctors, hospitals, government agencies such as Medicare, and medical suppliers to obtain important healthcare benefits for her clients.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University, Lauren pursued her Juris Doctor at the University of Richmond School of Law. In law school, Lauren was manuscripts editor for the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology and a senior staff member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest.
Lauren is an active member of the Richmond legal community and is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. She has served on the board of directors for a local adult day services provider and for the University of Richmond School of Law Young Graduate Association. She co-authored an article for the Virginia Medical Law Report entitled “Medicare Part D: A Summary” and a presentation for attorneys entitled “The Federal Stark Law: What Every Corporate Lawyer Needs to Know.”
Lauren was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2005 and is licensed to practice in Virginia State court and in the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Beware of this Attorney
Lauren Carroll was only available on day one of taking my case. The rest was left to others who could not answer questions without getting back to me and then by text only, and questions left unanswered. If you have anything to say, that she doesn't like. Boom she will leave your case. CAUTION!
