I handle all types of personal injury matters, from the simple to the complex. For example, I have handled trucking and motor vehicle accidents, products liability litigation, and also civil rights violations.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and my J.D. from the University of Richmond, School of Law. I scored in the top 1% of all test-takers nationwide on my law school admissions test and entered law school at the University of Richmond in the prestigious John Marshall Scholars program. The program was designed to give highly qualified students an incomparable legal education. The John Marshall Scholars program also includes a unique programmatic component where scholars have unique opportunities to meet with and be mentored by lawyers and judges in the region. I have been selected to the Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars in personal injury for the last three years. This honor is reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in Virginia in the area of personal injury. While in law school, I worked as a law clerk for Attorney Jonathan Halperin and ultimately became his partner. Since law school it has been my mission to represent those who have been wronged by others, and need help getting the justice they deserve. While working towards my undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, I worked full time as a carpenter, and construction laborer. This experience taught me that hard work is the foundation for success. I bring a blue collar work ethic, significant life experience, and a keen intelligence to all the cases I handle. I am dedicated to my clients and committed to providing them with the most compassionate and qualified representation.
