Reckless Driving

As a result of a driving infraction while travelling through Virginia from the northeast to Florida, I had the opportunity to meet Jason Joyner. I was travelling well above the speed limit but felt (as I generally do) that I was in the normal flow of traffic; unfortunately, the Virginia State Police... felt otherwise. I received more than 30 separate requests by mail from Virginia law firms seeking to represent me in connection with this “reckless driving” charge. It was not until I received all of these letters that I researched the consequences of my infraction and realized the serious nature of such a charge. Not knowing any attorneys in Virginia, I randomly called some of the firms who had sent me letters; it was during the 4th phone call that I connected with Mr. Joyner. When we first spoke, I was confident that I was in the right hands. I immediately chose Mr Joyner to represent me for this reckless driving charge in Richmond, Virginia. Typically, at the speed I was travelling, I would have had to appear in court and potentially go to jail, pay a hefty fine and/or lose my license. However, Mr. Joyner was able to try the case in my absence and get the misdemeanor reduced to a simple traffic infraction. Whenever I spoke with Mr. Joyner, I felt that he provided detailed information that explained exactly what I needed to do and what the consequences would be if I did not follow-up. Mr. Joyner was very easy to contact by both telephone and e-mail. I could not be happier with his representation; he obviously saved me from a severe penalty and a potentially embarrassing situation.

Professional and Approachable

I got a speeding ticket for 84 which is a big deal anywhere, especially VA. I had never gone to traffic court. I hired the firm of Christina Pendleton to represent me. The staff there always answered communication, they did things proactively to help my case go before the right Judge. I was assig...ned Jason Yarbrough. It was important to me to review my case prior to appearing. He made sure we had time to discuss the case when he arrived at Court. He had clearly already acquainted himself with my case, but still listened to my account and thoughts. He had an idea that things would go well, but if they didn't he already had thought about contingencies, and explained everything to me.. Jason was professional, knowledgeable and approachable. My case went very well, because of Jason, the right Judge and a kind Officer. I am really glad I hired Pendleton Law Firm, and that Jason Yarbrough was my attorney, he did a great job!!
