I’ll say I was skeptical about signing up Erik Baines and his law office for help with my divorce. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past and I was afraid this would be another one of those experiences. I can tell you now, I was so wrong. Erik was extremely professional the whole time, his sta...ff even accommodated a phone consultation rather than have me come in the office. Throughout the duration of my divorce, he would update me regularly, he always responded to my questions and he even helped me solve an issue with an attorney that was terrible. I give him 5 stars all the way.

$250 for a 20-minute consult to learn what I already knew should have warned me to run away but, I needed representation and burned through the retainer in a blink. Mr. Baines may have knowledge and the backing of a respected law firm, but his billing practices need a review. I was referred to this a...ttorney by someone I trusted and was too stressed to know what to ask. I quickly learned an expensive lesson in hiring a lawyer and found a great individual with reasonable billing practices. If your case is short and sweet, this may be the lawyer for you but if it's complicated, there are good and less expensive options to handle your case.

I've been using Erik to help me through my divorce. He not only clearly presented the somewhat confusing law in relation to my case, he had great advice for the timely handling of my situation. While I certainly hope to never need him for another divorce, I would recommend him without reservation t...o any of my friends.
