Well, my -firsthand- experience with Stephanie was very positive. I retained Stephanie to navigate a complicated divorce involving multiple businesses as well as myriad financial & tax issues. Her experience as a bankruptcy attorney served my interests as well, and I was happy to have her support dur...ing a contentious court appearance, since she succeeded in having opposing council's egregious request for extra legal fees dismissed by the judge. It was clear from that experience that Stephanie is well-known and highly-regarded in the legal community. It is true, you get what you pay for, and it's also true that quality is not expensive, it's priceless. I'm -so- glad I hired an expert, because it ended up saving me fees during the divorce, and the settlement ended up saving my assets, which was my goal from the outset. The most important aspect of the attorney-client relationship is communication and trust; Stephanie Montgomery builds and earns that trust. In my case the process was long and difficult, Ms. Montgomery worked with me all the way, providing expert opinion and working hard to come to resolution. She showed extraordinary patience in the face of difficult people and circumstances. It was in the appearance before the Judge that her abilities manifested. She is present; seeing what is going on, reading the judge, making adjustments in tactics to meet the strategic goals. Her presentation skills are outstanding; it is entirely fair to say that she dominated that appearance before the court. I’ve been approached by two friends who have found their selves in the same unfortunate circumstances; in both instances I recommended Ms. Montgomery and they are now her clients.
