Stephanie Ann Montgomery

As Plaintiff. Retained Stephanie to file for Annulment of Marriage. She talks me out of it, and file for improper Divorce Complaint instead. She never properly disclosed conflict of interest. She file for Divorce instead, offers Defendant improper Agreement without my knowledge. Kept corresponding wi...th defendant, Breached her Fiduciary Duty, refused to produce my complete file and disclose information. Misleads me all the way and refused to mediate, she knows the can only prove it all claims. At the she tells me the DA is her friend and and knows all judges.For certain you’ll lose money, time and be left to suffer worse. STAY AWAY! She talks about it all even to clients of the firm and to other. No Client privileges.

I went to see Ms. Montgomery to inquire about filing for bankruptcy. I paid all the fees in full and never filed. She stated it was just a click in order to be done filing. It was never filed. I requested a refund of my fees on multiple occassions for services not rendered. She stated she would have ...to see what the balance due back to me was since she had completed 90% of the work. Never heard from her again. I have never received an itemized statement detailing what services she performed, if there was a balance due, nothing. I know I will never get my money back. This is just a buyer beware. Very expensive lesson learned for me.

My husband and I paid for the consultation to be told that our case, we were looking for redetermination of custody for my husband's daughter from his first marriage, was basically hopeless and that we would be lucky to get visitation. We told her that we needed the entire cake and she told us she co...uld try to get us a piece. Well, we took our business elsewhere, found somebody who believed in our case, and ultimately received full-custody and the mother is currently in jail for 5+ years on drug charges. Idk.. maybe child custody just isn't her thing?

Please, Please, Please.... Whatever you do, do not retain this Lawyer. The only thing worse then having Ms. Montgomery as an Attorney is having to deal with her Paralegal, Jesse. This team in unresponsive to phone calls, do not keep you informed, and I wouldn't trust them to feed my dogs. I h...ad to do the leg work for my case to be dismissed. No suggestions or strategy was given for my hearing. If it wasn't for the statement I typed up or the pictures taken (which was done without thier advice), I would have had a horrible outcome. I say run the other way if you have the unfortunate circumstance of having them represent you.
