Stephanie Ann Montgomery

My life turned upside down with no notice and I managed to hire Stephanie Montgomery to help me with separation and later bankruptcy. She is so confident at what she does that she really put my mind at ease and took some of the stress and uncertainty away from me allowing me to concentrate on simply ...surviving. She is aggressive and hard working and straight to the point and with her helpful and friendly staff of Brittany and Keidra they always keep me right and I can understand the difficult world of law. I would recommend her to anyone who wants ‘ to get the job done’ and relieve some of your stress.

I went to see Ms. Montgomery to inquire about filing for bankruptcy. I paid all the fees in full and never filed. She stated it was just a click in order to be done filing. It was never filed. I requested a refund of my fees on multiple occassions for services not rendered. She stated she would have ...to see what the balance due back to me was since she had completed 90% of the work. Never heard from her again. I have never received an itemized statement detailing what services she performed, if there was a balance due, nothing. I know I will never get my money back. This is just a buyer beware. Very expensive lesson learned for me.

Well, my -firsthand- experience with Stephanie was very positive. I retained Stephanie to navigate a complicated divorce involving multiple businesses as well as myriad financial & tax issues. Her experience as a bankruptcy attorney served my interests as well, and I was happy to have her support dur...ing a contentious court appearance, since she succeeded in having opposing council's egregious request for extra legal fees dismissed by the judge. It was clear from that experience that Stephanie is well-known and highly-regarded in the legal community. It is true, you get what you pay for, and it's also true that quality is not expensive, it's priceless. I'm -so- glad I hired an expert, because it ended up saving me fees during the divorce, and the settlement ended up saving my assets, which was my goal from the outset. I can -wholeheartedly- recommend Stephanie; I feel she's the one for anyone desiring a respected, seasoned lawyer on their team. BTW, I'm mystified how someone who didn't actually hire or work with Stephanie is able to post a review to begin with, and how it is possible they could have formed any bad opinion. My personal interactions and the end result were entirely satisfactory...period.
