Michael Preston Tittermary

This lawyer grossly overcharges for his services compared to other lawyers of the same caliber. He told me the only way I would win my case, was if I hired multiple outside "professionals" to testify on my behalf, which would have cost an additional $5000+. Needless to say I hired someone else for l...ess money, didn't need to hire anyone else to testify, and I won.

My civil case was an uncomplicated one so I wasn't very worried, however, Mr. Tittermary didn't assert the facts of the case while in the courtroom, at all. I found him to be aloof and distant, and ultimately felt as though I was a bother when I would try to contact him to discuss the details of our ...case. Just know there are lawyers out there that enjoy their careers and are happy to communicate and fulfill the needs of their clients that they are legally bounded to defend and represent. This man is not one of them.

My case was a simple one with plenty of physical evidence that one would assume would be an easy win. I found Michael to be very passive and unconcerned, and even a little refusing to present facts that would have helped justice be served to someone that had clearly broken the law. In the end, the mo...re aggressive lawyer took control of the courtroom and I lost my case. Do not hire him unless you would like to lose your case.

I've worked with various lawyers throughout my life, unfortunately Michael Tittermary is one that I will never work with again. He ignored my requests and suggestions, only communicated when he needed to, and ultimately things did not go the way I had wanted them to. I do not recommend if you're cons...idering hiring him for your case.

Mr. Tittermary supported my ex-husband and me during our divorce. Ours was a relatively amicable one and Mr. Tittermary's rate was more than fair for drafting our PSA and handling our divorce filing. He and his paralegal were professional, to the point, and managed the out-of-state service of papers ...so that everything went off without a hitch even though my ex was now living 600+ miles away. He also provided service to me during the refinance of my home due to a complicated special commissioner's deed that had been issued when my ex and I originally purchased our home. Mr. Tittermary was recommended to me and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to others.
