About Kenneth

Hello, my name is Ken Gibson, and my law firm is dedicated to helping injured people.  Call for legal help.  At GibsonSingleton law firm, we are passionate about helping clients get through tough times and fighting for them inside and outside the courtroom. I was fortunate to have earned a commendation from the Director of the FBI for my work in prosecuting violent criminals. I am a former Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Norfolk and a Federal Prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He has the legal experience to get the best possible results for you.

I graduated from the University of Virginia and the University of South Carolina Law School.   Like my partner John, I served as a U.S. Marine, driving an M1A1 tank.  I also knows what it’s like to be an injury victim. During my early 20s, my car was hit by a drunk driver, and I spent several months in physical therapy. I experienced the frustration many clients face of dealing with insurance companies pressuring them to settle without a lawyer.

Today, I serve my community through the Gloucester Point Rotary Club, the Middle Peninsula Literacy Council, and the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce. I like to watch sports, fish, read military history, and play drums for a local band. I live with my wife Beth and young twins in Gloucester, Virginia.

Accident
I am glad a little over 4 years stopping in there and retaining the office of Gibson and Singleton. They worked hard to attain the facts and get the max settlement for which I could receive. The office personnel along with the attorneys are simply a team you need to hire if you want straight forward and honest team that is on your side all the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your assistance.

Compassionate and THOROUGH Attorney!
Mr. Gibson went "above and beyond" in my case, negotiating the best plea bargain for my situation and remaining compassionate to my feelings the entire time. I am very thankful to Mr. Gibson for all the hard work he did on my behalf, and highly recommend him if you are in need of legal assistance.

Ken is a terrific attorney.
Ken Gibson was my divorce attorney and I have recommended him to several friends. Nobody ever plans on, or enjoys, their divorce. Ken understands this. He patiently walked me through the mind numbingly tedious procedures that are demanded by law. His secretarial staff made endless copies and e-mailed them to the opposing council,...without ever losing a single page! That cannot be said of opposing council's staff. He gave me great advise, which I sometimes ignored. And then I regretted ignoring his advice every single time. I very soon came to trust him and realized that, as I compared notes with other people and their divorce horror stories, that I had no horror stories to tell. "My attorney was on that before it was ever a problem." Billing: Yes you will pay some sort of bill for any service, from oil changes to attorney's fees. Ken is extremely fair in his billing. Every month I received an itemized bill which he was happy to discuss. He could have charged me much, much more for the divorce I eventually obtained. But his fees were entirely reasonable. He represented me in court (Yes. You actually have to stand in front of a judge at some point.) in a stellar fashion, and it was obvious that the Judges respected him and his arguments on my behalf. Finally, he's prior Military. He knows about the hardships associated with deployments, overseas duty, and the changes that marriages go through when people retire. He understands VA benefits, splitting retirement pay, and military healthcare/dental benefits for both parties. In short; I recommend Ken Gibson and his Amazing Staff to anyone for anything. I know that he does more than Divorce work. But if he says he can help you, then he can. Thank You.

Divorced nurse.
I retained Mr.Gibson as my attroney l8 months ago to complete divorce forms my previous attroney neglected to complete. Mr. Gibson has been very patient in dealing with such tedious time consuming forms. Not to mention having to deal with a very non-compliant person retaining all of the required documents to complete these forms. He has represented me in court once thus far to file contemp charges. He was fantastic presenting the case in court argued all complaints and I was very satisfied with the outcome. (The judge was allowing pity upon one stipulated clause), however if this clause was further neglected contempt charges would be filed.
