I can't say enough good things about Attorney William Stanton and Stanton Law. My son was facing extradition—first to Virginia, and then Florida attempted to extradite him back. It was a nightmare situation, and I honestly had little hope, especially going into the second hearing. But Mr. Stanton was... incredibly prepared and walked into court with confidence and a deep understanding of the law. What initially drew me to him were his great reviews online, and after meeting him in person, I immediately saw why others spoke so highly of him. His knowledge of extradition procedures and Virginia law was clear from day one. He communicated with us every step of the way, answered all my questions, and never made me feel like we were just another case. Thanks to his work, my son was released on bond in both cases while he awaits his next court date. Mr. Stanton truly fought for him, and I will always be grateful. All I'm going to say is when gang task force attempted to set me up, profile me and charge me without merit I called Mr. Stanton. The prosecutor attempted to bully me into pleading guilty. Mr. Stanton said we are going to trial. He asked the right questions, and the officers changed their stories an...d couldn't remember certain facts. My case was dismissed by the judge.

I regret to say that my experience with William W. Stanton has been the worst I have encountered with any attorney in my adult life. I reached out to him for assistance with a bond hearing for my son, with a bond amount of $5,500. Unfortunately, his lack of responsiveness and professionalism made a...n already stressful situation much worse. From the outset, I struggled to get clear communication or timely updates regarding my son's case. It felt as though my concerns were dismissed, and I was left without the guidance and support I desperately needed during this challenging time. To add to my frustration, I found that he overcharged me significantly. When I requested an itemized bill for clarity, he responded with a bill for close to $18,000 as what I can only describe as a sarcastic move. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend William W. Stanton to anyone seeking legal representation. Every client deserves an attorney who is committed to their case, communicates effectively, and handles billing transparently. Unfortunately, I did not find those qualities here.
