Ryan Jay Rakness

Received a reckless driving ticket while I was in VA and being from FL didn't want to have go back to VA for the court appearance. I called a few different lawyers, a few didn't even respond and a few others I spoke with I just didn't feel comfortable with. I liked what Ryan had to say without maki...ng any promises. He was able to get my reckless driving ticket down to a Speeding ticket and for that I am very grateful. Ryan and his team were very quick to respond and great with their communication. I would highly recommend him.

I am extremely grateful for Ryan Rakness. I am a resident of California who was visiting Virginia for less than 24 hours and managed to get myself into some serious trouble by driving 95 in a 55. I was facing jail time in Virginia (even though my home is in LA) and a $2,500 fine, among a long list of... other potential consequences- the only thing going for me, however, was my clean driving record. I probably consulted with about 20-30 lawyers in the 24 hours following the incident, and out of all of the lawyers I spoke to, I connected with Ryan the most. He spoke in a calm, factual manner and knew exactly what he was talking about- but he was also much more compassionate than the other attorneys, which was something I immediately gravitated towards. His pricing was reasonable, and he was true to this word in terms of how often he would communicate with me and how he works. In the end, I didn't get jail time, didn't have to fly back to Virginia for the trial, and had my fine cut more than half in cost. I am very satisfied with the outcome, and I would recommend Ryan to anyone who could use his help in the areas he practices in.

This whole reckless driving business is a bit confusing because I'm from out of state. Mr. Rakness returned my call promptly and took the time to go over the odds of getting my charge reduced or dismissed. Though Mr. Rakness had another engagement for the date of my court appearance he kindly took an... hour or so of his time to speak with me over the phone about my case. He sent me the defense he typically uses for cases like this in case I jdecided to represent myself. He also made recommendations based on experience witnessing other local lawyers, and I feel like he helped me make a solid final decision regarding my case. Mr. Rakless was very prompt and knowledgeable about specifics to the reckless driving case I'm facing and was exceedingly kind to use his time to advise me even though we knew he wouldn't be the one collecting fees or representing me.
