The lady who answers the phone is always prompt & polite. The first time I called, the nice lady answered, asked some questions, and connected me with a lawyer. I actually spoke to a lawyer on my first call (for FREE). He gathered my information & assigned my inquiry to Mr. Parrett. Mr. Parrett did s...ome research before we met (for FREE). He consulted with me for about 90 minutes (for FREE). He talked to me in a simple way so that it was easy to understand the process. He sometimes gives too much explanation or detail. Be patient. He can't know how much you understand. He seems to want to be thorough so that you have realistic expectations. He doesn't make promises or use enthusiastic language just to get your business. He will tell you what you need to do to get him what he needs to best represent you. It is so frustrating when trying to find a lawyer and reading reviews that are so hostile without good reason. Let me address the issue some people raise regarding the fact that Mr. Parrett (or any other lawyer) does not respond to emails. Nearly no lawyer will respond to emails that don't advance your cause. I think this is because they don't want to waste time since time is money. If you hire a lawyer, it is best to try hard to follow his lead since the lawyer knows what elements will help you win your case. Finally, he is not the cheapest lawyer BUT he is on the cheaper side AND he has a very easy payment option.

It was definitely some sort of Devine intervention how I met josh Parrett. A customer turned friend of mine who I worked on his cars had told me about a lawyer friend of his who he had been roommates with years ago. He mentioned that he was a very good lawyer in just a random conversation we had. Mo...nths later I get a charge that is a complete joke, pretty much the way it allways is in Virginia. The arraignment day comes and with it the threat of a possible 90 days misdomener so I choose to hire a lawyer, even though I didn't want to spend $1k to do what I should be able to do myself. By the time the court day comes I still was short the cash so I had it continued. It was winter time and I am allways slow during that time so I continued it 3 times. Every time I promised the judge I would have a lawyer by the time the next date came. The last continuance was The last straw for the judge who told me that if I didn't show up to court with a lawyer next time that he would try me anyway and that I would have to represent myself. So work starts to pick up but its not soon enough and I am starting to fear the fact that the judge is already mad at me for the run around he thought I was trying to pull. So a couple days before the court date I hear from my friend again and he needs some work done. I tell him shortly after I get to his house my situation and he again mentions his lawyer friend. I told him I did not have the money to hire him so he decided to call him and see if he could help. This was literally 2 or 3 days before court which is why I feel this was ment to be. Mr. Parrett told me since I was a friend of one of his friends that he would show up to court with me to ask for a continuance again so I had time to obtain him. He did this free of charge and without me ever even meeting me face to face. I as a business owner know the respect and appreciation you receive by looking after those around you. I showed up to court and Josh was there to save the day! Sombody I never met was about to do more for me than anyone else even could. He is very precise and hearing him talk on your behalf is the most comforting feeling you can have in a court room (by far the most confidence iv had in front of a judge). He gets me my continuance and gives me a very fair price. He also got the court date pushed back for an extra month so I would have enough time to pay him! When the time came for court I was so much more confident as I had already seen him talk to the judge one time for me for free. So I knew he was going to do a perfect job. And that he did! I was found innocent and got to go Home! Awesome dude amazing lawyer! He saved me time lost from my life and that is priceless. Thank you Mr. Parrett

One of the most compassionate people I have ever met in my life. I did not have any experience with court matters before, so the langauge of it all was very difficult for me to understand. Mr. Parrett was very down to earth and made things clear and simple. During my most difficult time with court ma...tters, Mr. Parrett was reassuring, profession and clear cut which made my stressful situation as stress free as possible. I couldn't thank Mr. Parrett enough for being an incredible, fair and honest attorney. I would recommend him to anyone for being a truly rock star attorney!
