A native of King George, VA, Elizabeth -Carpenter-Hughes believes strongly in community involvement. In addition to practicing law, she spends a significant amount of her personal time working with underprivileged and handicapped children, as well as serving in a local youth organization. This interaction with the community gives her a creative, compassionate perspective in domestic law cases. She also regularly attends a variety of continuing education and best practices seminars in order to stay informed of changing Virginia laws.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, she received her Juris Doctor from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. She gained valuable legal experience both while working for the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia and as an associate attorney with Rose M. Pantazis, P.C., in Stafford, Virginia. Elizabeth Carpenter-Hughes joined Anthony C. Williams & Associates, PC, as an associate attorney in 2013 and became partner at Williams Stone Carpenter Buczek, PC in 2017.
