Josh Portman is a Business and Tax Law Associate at B.J. Kang Law, PC. Mr. Portman recently graduated from Georgetown University Law Center's Masters in Taxation (LL.M.) program (May 2014). Prior to joining B.J. Kang Law, Mr. Portman interned with the Chief Counsel at the Office of Tax and Revenue in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Portman is admitted to practice law in both the state of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Before attending Georgetown, Mr. Portman earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Syracuse University College of Law (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), in Political Science, from the University of Vermont (2008).
Mr. Portman's primary studies, as well as academic interests, include international tax planning for inbound and outbound transactions, all federal tax matters, tax exempt organizations, state &local tax planning for businesses, and corporate law.
