Biography
Lieutenant Commander Michael J. Meyer is presently the Chief of Defense Services for the United States Coast Guard. He is responsible for the defense of all courts-martial at the trial and appellate levels, as well as the defense of all administrative separations, boards of inquiry, reliefs for cause, and aviation competency boards. He is a 2005 graduate of Loyola Law School, 2008 graduate of Naval Justice School, and a 2015 graduate of the nationally-renowned Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. LCDR Meyer is available for consultation and detailing to courts-martial in any military branch.
