S. Alex Miller

Alex Miller is an incredible person, gifted litigator, and brilliant at everything legal. He has assisted various members of my family with their immigration issues and has been recommended by us to everyone we know. He is thorough, researched, and meticulous. He knows what to do and how to do it. He... is also kind and understanding, and spends a lot of time with his clients. He doesn't exaggerate and he doesn't lead you on - he tells you straight out what to expect, so that we can be better prepared to handle our case. In court, he is a force! Amazingly strong and confident. We will continue recommend Alex to everyone we know. He is a genuine person and we love working with him.

Though Alex is an Immigration attorney, he was recomended to my wife and I as we wanted to pursue a Libel/Slander case against a few parties in the Alexandria, VA area. We emailed back and forth over about a month and 1/2, only heating back from him a week after I would email or call, and finally ...met him at his new Arlington, VA office in the middle of a snow storm. As it is relevant to this review, Alex was recommended to us because as we were told, prior to his specialization of Immigration law, he was a fearless and well organized litigator. As it turns out, Alex has either lost his will to fight the good fight (or any fight), or the recommending party was sadly misinformed. During our hour long meeting, Alex laid out what he believed to be our case, offered confidence, suggested we'd file suit early in January, and even asked we return home to engage in further research to aid him, our new attorney. Weeks later, today (12/16/13) I receive an email from Mr. Miller informing me that he has decided he can no longer represent us, as he's just "too busy". Money never changed hands, a contract wasn't signed (we've been waiting weeks for it to arrive), so no, he was never officially my attorne. Alex is an OPPORTUNIST, is ETHICALLY SUSPECT, and is, obvious by his demeanor and poor communication skills, SELFISH.

Stevan has been handling my immigration case for about 2 years now and he has been nothing but a great support system through out the process. He is extremely professional and has eased my nerves on many occasions. All my queries ( silly or not! ) have been answered with great patience and with utmos...t respect. He understands the immigration laws well and invests time to understand out of the ordinary situations. He is very approachable, Organized and communicates efficiently. I have nothing but great things to say about Alex. He fought for me and for a case that looked soooo bad he turned everything around and am here to stay. I was actually very scared to see a lawyer especially after looking and looking and looking around and people telling me that lawyers have major attitude problems but where those people wrong i tell you. I met with Attorney Alex Miller and he was the total opposite of what I was expecting. Very respe...ctful and straight to the point. I didnt even have to ask him questions because thats how specific and detailed he was. I would HIGHLY recommend him
